ABOUT

2nd International Training Workshop

IdMOC is an in vitro, cell culture-based experimental model for the study of cell-cell communication. It employs cells from multiple organs that are physically separated but interconnected by a medium that mimics the systemic circulation.
Dr Li patented it in 2004. The IdMOC technology has numerous applications in drug development and toxicology.
It is especially useful in finding pharmacological effect of a drug and its metabolites on target and off-target organs

as well as to evaluate drug-drug interactions. The IdMOC system can be used to assess cell type-specific or organ-
specific toxicity.
